An interstellar salvaging mission
In Starship Scramble, players pilot starships between asteroids and make it home as fast as possible to turn a profit. The controls are spread across the interior of the ship and take time to move between, forcing players to plan their route and make every action count.
This game was created with two other students for an assessment task in Game Design Methodologies at UTS. Prior to this subject, I had only ever programmed solo; this project taught me most of what I know about programming in a team using source control and coordination. In addition, I gained valuable experience in game design and playtesting practices throughout the subject.
